I can’t control:
How another person reacts to a difficult conversation, if they get angry, and how that anger manifests; I can't control if someone gets angry and aggressive when I acknowledge the tension in our relationship.
I can control:
Choosing to actively pursue a difficult conversation with someone, if it's needed. I am naturally avoidant; I can acknowledge that, and make the effort to have difficult conversations when I feel they're necessary.

I am avoiding a difficult conversation with a friend. I will I will reach out to my friend and ask him to meet at some point in the next 28 days, to discuss the tension in our friendship and get to a place of greater honesty about our relationship.
Why this matters to me:
I want to live knowing I did everything I could to secure relationships with people I care about.
