1 | Practice Rigorous Authenticity
My mask is:
I’m hiding a weakness2 | Surrender The Outcome
I can’t control:
- Who my friends want to spend time with
- People feeling peaceful and happy after evreything I say...some things are true, but hurt.
- How people choose to follow Jesus Christ. I can share my own path, but not pull someone away from theirs
- Everyone I meet wanting to carry a conversation with me
I can control:
- To gently pull my thoughts back into the present moment
- How I respond to others; it changes how we see each other
- Focusing on the happiness of others; it often brings me into a happy place as well
- Being direct and honest about what I want out of a situation
3 | Do Uncomfortable Work

- Repetitious counting/sorting jobs (dishes, food prep, cleaning the floor, ect)
- Talk with at least 2 people by the end of the week about 2 weaknesses that I conseal AND how people tend to step into a difficult conversation
- Job search!!
Why this matters to me:
- I want to be able to see a reflection of authentic self in people I interact with instead of judging and doing nothing about it.
