I can’t control:
- The reaction of the person, I mainly report too.
- His conversation with others about his and my conversation.
- If he has allotted time, I may need.
I can control:
- My openness with my manager and working towards challenging my anxiety in a work-related atmosphere.
- Understanding myself, and knowing what situations can be more triggering.
- Asking for specific time slots to discuss anxiety during the week.
- Trusting he will be understanding, empowering, and encouraging.
3 | Do Uncomfortable Work
My Daily Reflection:
- Did I open up at least once during the day with him about my level of anxiety 1-10 (1 being minimal anxiety & 10 being high anxiety)
- Push a trigger point with anxiety enough to sit with the situation and trust it.
- Do a visualization exercise to work through a potential situation that may cause anxiety.
My Mask-Free Action(s):
- Decide on a weekly time to check in with him about anxiety.
- Check-in daily with him on anxiety rating at end of the day.
- Weekly discussion on situations that arouse which causes anxiety.
Why this matters to me:
- work towards NO MORE PANIC ATTACKS in work situations.
- Being closer to my manager. (Already pretty close)
- Trusting myself more.
- Trusting management more.
