I can’t control:
I dont want others to 'not lower their estimation of me'. This estimation by others I cannot control
I want others to 'like me'. I seek approval and praise from others.
I want others to 'think of me highly- honor me' in response to what I do. This estimation by others I cannot control
I can control:
I can be truthful- that I have time management issues. So I can work on managing my time
I can be truthful- that I am pleasure seeking individual at a great cost. I seek pleasure over task completion and procrastinate a lot. So what I can control is that I can reduce my dopamine seeking self destructive behaviour, and instead focus on micro-dopamine boosts + seek dopamine boosts for task fully taken to completion on time. This I will have to guard fiercely.
